The Five Stages Of Failing
At Network Marketing
Every person who starts out in network marketing have five key stages that could potentially cause failure. We will explore each stage so that you may understand what causes the failure and teach you how to over come and succeed as an entrepreneur in the field of Network Marketing. If you get past these hurdles you have an excellent chance to make money.
Stage One – The “You” Factor
The biggest factor that causes most people to fail at Network Marketing is the inability to recognize that the problem lies within themselves. People tend to blame externally instead of taking an inventory of themselves and really finding the flaws within and fixing those flaw. These “failing” attributes is different in each person. Although it is driven by only two forces: Fear and Pleasure! We do ‘actions’ to please ourselves and we avoid ‘actions’ we fear.
If you are going to have success in Network marketing you will need to get out of your comfort zone to learn new skills and get creative. For example: Public speaking. Each networker who strives for success will soon realize that to have a roaring success they will need to learn to be in front of a lot of people sharing their story and teaching them the company they are promoting.
It is important to seek out advice, from people like myself, and be aware that you will never stop learning how to be successful. The key is to be comfortable with yourself and learn as much as you can and I must stress this last part: “Take Action”.
Stage Two – Exhausting Your Initial Warm List
In every Network Marking program you will be asked to form a list of everyone you know so that you can begin with them to promote your company’s product or services! When your upline and you finish contacting all of these people you will mostly likely received a lot of “NOs” and probably a speech of ‘Why are you in ‘that’ program?’ A good majority of people quit and assume Network Marketing is not for them.
The best way to over come this stage is to have the attitude that Mike Dillard teaches: Not to care whether they get in or not!
Stage Three – Following A Proven System or Modeling
Most Network Marketers are taught to go out and find reasons to be “out” mingling with other people so that you may later call them, get them on the phone and attempt to talk them into going to a local meeting or doing a three-way call with your upline pitching them. Very similar to being a telemarketer.
What do you do when a telemarketer called?
Personally I hang up!
You should consider a proven system to model. A system that will teach you step by simple step how to achieve your Network Marketing goals and coach you. To achieve success in Network Marketing, take my advice and check out MLSP. This company will teach you, the Law of Attraction and the Art of Content Marketing! Lead with value!
Stage Four – Establishing A Loyal Following
Most rookie network marketers fail to understand that the money is in the “list”. Perhaps I should re-word that a little: The money is in your email list of people whom have opted into your “News Letter”, or “e-zine”. Essentially this is the list of people who “want to hear from you” and are interested in what you have to teach them.
To get this Loyal List, you need a place to promote content that pertains to your niche. For me, it was this site! A blog. My Free gift is apart of the P.S. down under this article.
Once you have a list of people you can share information, inspire and promote. In that order. If you promote too much you run the risk of encouraging everyone to “unsubscribe”.
Stage Five – Vision & Drive
This one caught me of guard the first time I learned it’s lesson. My mentor asked me, “Johnmark, is your vision large enough for everyone in your Network to carry them to their destination?” and, “What are you doing to ‘drive’ that vision to be successful not only for you, but for everyone?” Two very powerful questions.
Ninety percent of networkers who enter this industry have no vision or drive to see that vision become a reality and that is why the majority of them are broke, in debt and banging their head against a wall (metaphorically) in frustration with no list, no proven system to follow, all their friend and family have said ‘NO’ and no idea how to really succeed in the industry.
To have vision, share with people your grand plan and learn from the libraries at MLSP and myself how to establish your success!
